We ate at Capriccios on University and Sheridan, Pembroke Pines the other night. We've eaten there a few times before and seemed to enjoy it....but.....forget it! they have a stolling violinist and a pianist...The music was so loud, you couldn't hear the person next to you!! They never took a break and it was pretty stressful having to talk so loudly - the portions have definitely gotten smaller! My husband always eats bruschetta - he loves it and eats it regularly....well, 4 very small pieces of toast, hardly any tomatoes, $9! barely worth eating! Not even flavorful! 3 of us ordered the special salad...$10.....it sounded wonderful on the menu....the mozzeralla and parmagiana was tiny, hardly much there....we all thought it was clearly not worth the money. The waiter was rude...the entire experience was so dreadful!! All I can say is skip it!
The next night we went to Bella Luna in the Aventura Mall - what a difference, wonderful service, great food, prices are great - its a wonderful restaurante, surprisingly located in the Mall. Who would have thought - the seafood is amazing....Wood burning oven for the pizza and foccacia.....Fruita di Mare is lovely! Highly recommended...don't be turned off by the fact that its in the mall!
