Need a hand mixer with a slow start . . .

cellomommy | Nov 22, 201408:36 AM     6

Bought a mixer years ago because it promised it would not burn out on cookie dough. Wont burn out but I wish it would! Every time I use it, it throws bits of butter or sugar or flour all over the kitchen and me. I use my largest, deepest bowls and that helps some, but still! I need a mixer that will start gently. Something that does not weigh a ton or cost a fortune would be nice, too. No stand mixer, do not have space for it. I would like this to be a non-cussing holiday . . .
