Guyanese Chinese

Question: What's the deal with Guyanese Chinese? We have two Guyanese nabes in South Queens - Richmond Hill and Hollis - each of which has about a half dozen such places. Is it a special blend, the way I always heard Cuban-Chinese is? Or is this perhaps the one instance of an uninteresting ethnic cuisine? I plan to do my own research, but was wondering if anyone would care to comment. Thanks.
