Group Dining in the Richmond -- Special Occasion

Jeni Bean | Jan 24, 200607:47 PM     6

On an upcoming Sunday in May I will be graduating from USF law school. Because it has been a long and hard struggle my dear parents wanted to treat me and 15-20 of our relatives to dinner after graduation. There are some parameters, however, and I am looking for some good suggestions. We want to book sooner rather than later because I want my pick of the litter in the 'hood!

The crowd will be relatives ranging from 22-80+ (all the octogenarians are ambulatory, but not AS loud would be nice.) Although they aren’t all adventurous foodwise, it is my day, so hit me with your best Chow-ish options!

Here goes for parameters:
1) Seat 15-20 people, doesn't need to be a private room so long as we won't disturb other patrons (we hope to be having fun!)
2) Richmond District
3) Festive/fun atmosphere
4) Price not "really" an object (but I don't want to bankrupt my parents either!)

Can you help me?

Some ideas I have had, but not followed up on: Yet Wah, RoHan (it will be early and on a Sunday, but we would take up most of the place).

Thanks in advance...

JB
