Grecian Festival in Downtown Brooklyn

Lambretta76 | Jun 10, 2004 10:24 AM

Through the 13th, the Saint Constantine and Saint Helena Cathedral on Schermerhorn Street (b/w Boerum Place and Court Street) is having a Greek Festival.

A cook was firing up the charcoal as of 9:30 this morning, so I imagine that there will be some decent food around. The menu listed souvlakia ($4), spanakopita ($6), and meatballs (5/$4) - among other things.

Could be some good food and a nice break from the monotony of Downtown Brooklyn dining. No idea what the hours are. They seem to have a nice tent with tables and chairs set up in the back and the street is closed off as well...
