I know that this topic has been done, but possibly not with the specs I'm looking for.
I'm heading to Montreal in two weeks, w/husband and two children. I'm interested in taking some cooking classes and chowing my way through town for five days. The cooking classes are the impetus for this trip----and I thought there would be tons of them! But I'm not finding as many as I thought I would. I'm learning French but am nowhere near fluent, and would need classes to be in English. The Academie Culinaire sounded perfect, but it looks like it's all French there now.
Any recommendations on this would be much appreciated!
Also, any recs for good eating w/kids would be great, too. The kids are 10 and 7 and well behaved.
I have just recently been told of Le Poutine and I can't even get my head around how good that must be, when it's good. Would love to know about lunch places, dinners, shops, all over the city.
Thanks in advance!
