Great Creole food in Morton

jessica | Jul 26, 2004 09:37 AM

I was in New Orleans in May and have been going through serious Cajun/ Creole withdrawl. Friday night my roommate and I decided to try Nora Lee's Cafe in Morton. It's a small BYOB that's probably hard to notice if you're not a local.

If any of you are looking for some grat Cajun this is the place to go! It's a cute little place with great service and amazing food. I ordered filet/ andoille meatloaf, wrapped in bacon with Cajun BBQ sauce. Roomie got the blackened chicken and crabcake combo. Both came with hush puppies and the creamiest, most delicious mashed potatoes I've had in quite a while. Both meals were excellent and our total bill for the entrees was $30. I highly reccommend going back!!!
