Great Bakery in downtown Easton

JohnnyKBar | Oct 20, 2006 03:28 PM

I stumbled on a great bakery in downtown Easton. I really didn't expect to find much down there, but Suzie's Mixing Bowl really suprised me. They do a lot of specialy cakes & decoration, but the selection in the case was pretty impressive. I succumbed to me lesser deamons and got a slice of Red Velvet Cake. Dense, rich, velvety, and the buttercream icing was amazing. It runs to the expensive side, but I thought that it was well worth it, especially considering what you got.
This may not be the best you've ever had, but for the Lehigh Valley, it was tremendous... A hidden jewel. If you're going to the Crayola Factory, or visiting Lafayette, it's a relatively quick walk off the beaten path, but well worth it.
The address is:
