Im looking for a good restaurant to celebrate my upcoming graduation. It will be a party of six: three big foodies, two fairly apathetic, one who is a senior. Im looking for a place that can meet all of our needs. Some place ambitious enough, but with some options or preperations that will the less adventorous folks. Marigold Kitchen is not an option but something along those lines. Im also looking for decor that is not too trendy but has an upbeat slightly hip tinge, something more melograno than tangerine.
Price is not a huge concern but ideally around 20-27 dollar main courses. BYOB is fine but not necessary. Cuisine is also open, though something too ethnic probably wouldnt be appropriate. Location as long as it is within Philly is not an issue.
Just to perhaps provide as much info as possible, im thinking along the lines of Saul, Stone Park Cafe, Blue Ribbon, Prune etc in New York City.
Thanks for any suggestions!
