Grad dinner for 16

JB | May 4, 2004 11:48 AM

My mother has asked me to choose a Boston area restaurant for my sister's graduation dinner. She wants to spend not more than $50 per head for food (not including wine). Private room is a bonus (16 people). Meal will happen on a Monday and preferably begin at around 5:00 pm. She'd like a somewhat formal setting, but the most important thing is high quality and creative food. Four of my recommendations were Il Capricio, Sel de Terre, Evoo and Oleanna, although I have never been to the latter two. Thanks in advance for any additional insight the hounds can provide.
