OK, so we went to Gorikee & it's good, but not life changing or anything close.

Very nice help, very nice owner, sat outside. Had the corn soup, speared deep-fried shrimp, fried-chicken and salmon. The soup was great. The shrimp was also good, but I think most things fried taste pretty good, so they don’t get extra credit with me. 2 of the 4 pieces of chicken were dark meat, I hate dark meat so that was that. The salmon on its own was a great piece of fish, fresh not frozen – not sure if the sauce deal worked with it, fava beans in a reduction with grapes – ok if one blended it with the mash on the plate, good but not great dish in my eyes. There is a loud bar next-door so forget about an enjoyable quiet evening outside, unless you like acid-rock with your food. In side is florescent city. Hey, I like the food fine and the folks are really nice and I would like to see it work for them, but comfort wise it did not cut it for me – not enough to make a special trip back that is. What I can say is I LOVE $3 CORKAGE!
