Where in Chicago can you buy really good tea? Whole or partial leaf stuff, not the shreds and dust at the bottom of the barrel. I have had some good luck with Ten Ren and some bulk food shops, but much of my tea purchases have been hit or miss, and given the infrequency of my purchases and frequency of my consumption, this no longer makes any sense to me if it ever did.
I think I know where to find the exquisite Oolongs, Darjeelings and some of the other flower teas in Chinatown, though I am open to other ideas - it is for sources of good blends English/Irish breakfast, Earl Grey, etc, that I really am at a loss.
And the true story is that I asked my bride to replensih my tea supply for Christmas and she replied, sensibly, "Tell me exactly what you mean by good tea and where I should get it." I could not, but with your help, I shall.
Thanks in advance, as always,
