found a good mexican joint in Stamford

For all you yearning for a good taco, there's a little take-out joint on West Main in Stamford called Fabi's that serves the best tacos i've had in the state. I went there on a recommendation from a chowhound posting a few months ago. I've only tried the tacos, so I can't verify the rest of the menu. The pork tacos are the juiciest and tastiest (albeit not low-fat). Beef and Al Pastor are also very tasty. Haven't tried the chicken or veal tongue as of yet.

The place is a tiny hole in the wall next to a laundry mat and small market. The address is 182 west main and is cash only.

If anyone knows of other sources of real mexican food in the area, pass it on! (I saw another posting a while ago about a lunch counter in the back of a mexican market in Norwalk...)
