Good eating places for lone patrons in Paris

Hi all. I will be spending 3 full weeks in Paris on business. I've been to Paris before but always with a bunch of people and this time I'm going by myself. I am a big foodie so I was wondering if you guys would have any recommendations of good places for having dinner and lunch solo? Week days are no problem since I will be with people from work but I am looking for suggestions for the weekends.

What are your favorite, reasonably priced, bistros / restaurants? (reasonably priced for me means no more than 60 - 70E per person for a lunch or dinner). I am especially looking for places that are good for eating alone, reading a book or magazine or just watching the scene. I've traveled by myself before to many countries and I have no problem in going to a restaurant alone, but some places are definitely more "friendly" for lone dinners than others.

Any opinions or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!!
