Lured to the Sonoma Farmers Market by the promise of Oak Hill Farm carrots (http://3hmm.com/thesun/?p=15188), I was happy to find a few vendors braving the rain. The mushroom man was there too - his crop flourishing under the current weather conditions.
Twin Peaks Ranch folks said they'd be there for two more weeks with kiwi & citrus - pomelos, blood & mandarin oranges, lemons & tangerines. I forgot to ask if they'd be at Santa Rosa's Saturday market after that.
For those who don’t know, the fate of the Sonoma Farmers Market has been in question for months. It’s a long story, but the current manager (and the small venue) was retained at a recent Sonoma city council meeting.
