Help Good Authentic Thai Food

ChrisZ | Jan 17, 2004 10:37 AM

After being in the city(living in Brooklyn) for a few months I have been trying numerous Thai restaurants and have had no success finding one that is up to par.

Now I have had many decent Thai meals, the key word is decent. My last attempt was last night at Kin Khao in Soho. The pad thai was a bit bland and unexciting, and was one of the better thai meals I have had.

I miss a tiny place in San Antonio, Texas where according to at least 30 thai exchange students had some of the most authentic thai food in the states. Most of all I miss the lunch prices $4.95 for entree, soup and tea and it kicked the crap out of the $12 plate of pad thai last night.

Please list your favorite thai rests. in the city. I will travel so there is a similar post on the outer borough board as well.

Thanks in Advance
