Golden Chopsticks on Balboa

I was walking along Balboa a couple of weeks ago and noticed a new restaurant called Golden Chopsticks. I stopped to look at the menu in the window, and the friendly owner came out and handed me a to-go menu. Last Friday I decided to give it a try.

The menu is mostly one-dish meals, such as noodles, porridge, clay pot, and rice plates. Most dishes are $5-$7. I got the chicken black mushroom rice in clay pot. I had to get it to go, so it wasn't actually in a clay pot, but it still had some nice crusty bits. It was a generous portion for the price, the sauce was tasty, and the rice pleasantly sticky. Since this place is right in my neighborhood, I will definitely try it again.
