$13 country fried steak, weekend BBQ (~$10 for 3 ribs lunch plate), $11 meat loaf. The BBQ (both ribs and the sausage) is cooked in the back lot grill, and exuded little smokiness.
The story is heart warming but the food is mostly unworthy save for th meat loaf. The meat loaf, griddled like a burger patty, was fun because of the nice char, and the mashed potato was pretty tasty. With Carolyn's and R&J Southern Homecooking throwing down so hard, I find it hard to be a fan.
Does anyone else have any experiences here?
