goat at penn station

Just an FYI for any chowish types who find themselves stuck in Penn Station for lunch. The only choices are not Roy Rogers and Dunkin Donuts!

In the back corner of the Nathan's on LIRR level there's a place serving pretty tasty Jamaican food. Options include curried goat, oxtail, jerk chicken, and brown stew chicken. A platter with white rice and fried plantains is only $5. Though the food is surprisingly unspicy, it is delicious relative to other P.S. food options.

I am at Penn Station over the lunch hour fairly frequently, so if others have made discoveries of better-than-average food there, please let me hear from you.
