G&M terrific crab cakes

Eater | Aug 12, 2004 12:37 PM

Tried G&M for the first time. It didn't disappoint.
Both take-out and restaurant was quite busy mid-week at 3 pm. (Though maybe it was not quite as good as I though, I was very hungry, not haven eaten all day.)
No wonder the place is popular-very large terrific mostly lump crab cakes beautifully cooked, much better and less expensive than Faidley's.
The slaw was very good sweet-sour, fried clams were OK for a frozen product, and the greek salad was inexpensive and generous. But the crabcakes are the reason to go there. Not far off I-95 on the south Baltimore beltway. Definitely worth a trip or a detour for anybody going to Baltimore to a ballgame or the Inner Harbor.
