Had a wonderful meal there last night. It is at 510 Glenwood, suite 103, in the same building as Hi 5 and Bogarts, etc
Interior is dr wood, modern stark, but comfortable. They also have a small private room in the back that also serves as a wine room.
Briefly, we had the bib salad with prosciutto, figs, a small grilled brie sandwich, walnut vinaigrette for $9. Also served were these really good black pepper grissini that had great salt on the outside, and were very crisp.
Grilled tuna with white bean hummus, roasted carmalized fennel, caper lemon sauce. $9. Outstanding, the best thing we had.
Taco Locos $6 ok, meat (pulled pork) was room temp, nice pico di gallo sauce.
Meatball (lamb and beef) Tagine with walnuts, zucchini, raisins, homemade yogurt and couscous. $15 Very tasty, would def get again.
Short Ribs, polenta with cheese, and crab? $19? Tasty, rib could have been cooked a bit more, was tender, not but fall of the bone.
We shared the brownie with pistachios, walnuts and peanuts, caramel sauce and a scoop of homemade vanilla icecream.. Although we were told the icecreams, sorbets are made in house, the vanilla ice cream was so so. I do appreciate homemade for sure, but hate to say breyers would have been better. However, the brownie was awesome! served warm too.
Wine list is decent and well thought out.
Service was perfect. Michael was very informative, understands and enjoys the food, and cares about what he does as a server. The whole staff was aware of what was going on with all the tables. There is certainly a lot of 'love' going on with this place!
We look forward to returning. The menu will change based on the seasons.
