gingerbread emergency!

I didn't read the recipe properly and though pumpkin pie spice would do, but I'm supposed to have 4tsp of ground ginger. Options are to sub fresh ginger, put the flourless batter into the fridge and add spiced flour tomorrow once I've bought ground ginger, leave the ginger out and call it spiced biscuits. It's the Tartine recipe for soft gingerbead cookies. Gah!
