Giang Nan - a short review

I love xlb... and I've converted my loved ones to these beautiful pieces of deliciousness. During this cold weather these little babies just hit the spot for me. So, upon seeing Jerome recommend Giang Nan, I headed there with no hesitation.

We ordered the crab with pork xlb (on the menu it reads "steamed crab and pork bun"), the extra thick chow mein, and the sweet and sour pork chops with some steamed rice on the side. The biggest hits were the xlb-- meaty and juicy-- and the pork chops. I thought the pork chops would be dry, but no, these pieces were meaty and full of sweet flavor.. no bone. The chow mein was good but didn't wow us like the other plates. Anyway, I'll be back. I love that a place like this is so close to home. Good food, good service, and a laid back setting. And 3 plates before tip..... $17 and change.... a steal.

Afterwards, I went to TJ's and bought their detox cleansing system. I always wonder how I don't get pushed around in a crane the way I eat. Thank goodness for exercise.

Thanks for the tip on this place, Jerome. You da man.
