Has there been any discussion of my favorite Italian restaurant on Taylor Steet? It meets all the Chowhound "coolness criteria": only open Thursday-Sunday, no valet, must get buzzed in through the locked front door by the bartender/owner, under ten tables, red table wine served in water glasses, and most of all the best veal scallopini served on homemade fresh pasta (actually made in the kitchen- all their pasta is their own) and real Italian gravy sauce (not marinara!!) The escarole soup that come with each main course, the giant meatballs/sausage, fresh hot bread/garlic bread/pizzabread I could go on and on.... (!!!!)

Anyone else share a passion for this place or have you been duped into going to Mia Francesca's or La Vita (both very good but not even close)?
