I just wanted to put in a good word for Gah-Rham, off Route 1 in Beltsville. I went there last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It's a little off the beaten track, but the service and food were very good. I was in Seoul earlier this year and the meal last night brought back memories. We ordered jhap che and a tofu and seafood casserole. They came with a good assortment of panchan (6 or 7 in all) and a bubbling dish of what was essentially scrambled egg. We also had an order of mandoo. All this plus a large Kirin Ichiban for $35. It was quite busy for a weekday night and we were the only non-Koreans there. The owner couldn't have been nicer and came by to check on us throughout the meal.
