Looking for the most fun Bastille Day event in San Francisco

Joan Kureczka | Jul 10, 2004 01:09 PM

Bastille Day is Wednesday and I'm looking for the most fun, ow price evening event. A lot of the French restaurants in town do something special and last year we stayed in the neighborhood and went to our usual, Cafe Maman.

This year, Jesse learned that Dylan's is doing an event with French/Canadian food, wine and music. One wouldn't think a supposedly Welsh pub would be a hot spot for a Bastille Day party. But the bartender Danielle is French Canadian and there seems to be a cohort of French and French Canadian regular patrons of the place, so why not? Danielle is also an excellent cook, so what food is available should be tasty.

Any other nominees? No high end places please, and I won't be able to drink alcohol that evening for certain reasons.
