I've been here twice recently. Sat at the hibachi once and in the separate part of the restaurant the second time. Service was spotty both times, but I am coming to learn to not expect much in terms of service in the restaurants of Monmouth county. The food was very good however. I don't see much variance between hibachi places, and Fuji ranks with the rest of them, except maybe with even larger portions. The sushi was good, and there are some very creative rolls. The second time I went, I ordered the shabu-shabu. Although it was my first experience with this, and dont have anything to compare it to, I thought it was really tasty. A large pot of broth is served at the table on a gas burner along with raw vegetables, raw meats, noodles, tofu, seafood, etc. You then cook everything youself in the hotpot. We ordered for two, and it was probably enough for 4. The place also has a thai menu, which I will try next time.
