Friends visiting from England and Italy- where to eat?

veee | Feb 20, 201502:33 PM     31

We have an English and an Italian friend visiting us next weekend. One is vegetarian and the other is allergic to all seafood. We (the hosts) are adventurous eaters and do not necessarily want to go to an all vegetarian, seafood-free place.

We are looking for great brunch and dinner places that will highlight California cuisine but meet their dietary restrictions, and also be affordable. In other words, brunch <$20-25/person and dinner <$30/person.

We will mostly be sight-seeing mid-city and on the westside.
