that's how the Brits eat it and I made a batch for my American friends to try.
3lbs of minced fish (I used cod and carp)
5oz matzoh meal
1 very finely minced onion
salt to taste
sugar to taste
corn oil (about an inch deep balls will need turning - they will be dark in colour so that they cook right through).
mix well, heat oil and deep fry 1" balls. Fry one first and adjust seasoning. Eat with chreyne. Enjoy.
