After watching Food Feuds fried clam contest between Woodman's and JT Farnhams... I want to try making my own. Really couldn't find any recipes close to theirs. They both used corn flour. One used lard for frying, the other a combo of oils. Very little to no spices in the flour mixture. Soaked in evap milk. Does anyone have a recipe close to the New England style of frying clams? Also, best type of clams to use. Any help would be appreciated.
