Freezing barbecue???

OK, I know this is an odd question.

I have two questions. First, can I smoke ribs, then put it in the fridge overnight to throw on the grill with sauce the next day to finish them? Would that overnight rest ruin the texture, tenderness or flavor?

And two, taking it one step further... is it possible to freeze smoked ribs without ruining them? Then when I'm craving them, thaw them and put them on a grill with a sauce to finish them? I'm sort of doubtful the freeze option would work without serious compromise, but thought I'd ask... It would sure be cool if I could do that, because then I could do about 10 racks at once...
