Had a fantastic experience at Freemans on Sunday. We had reservations at 1:30 but half of our party was an hour late because of a flat tire. As soon as they came our table was still available and they were very friendly which was nice as they seated us. We started with the artichoke dip, the cheddar and the stilton cheeses. The dip was amazing- huge peices of artichoke inside. The stilton came with raisons on the vine which were very tasty especially since I am not a big fan of raisons. I had the poached eggs w/ tomato and cheese grits. The eggs were cooked perfect. My only complaint would be the grits which were a little too rich and grainy. My boyfriend had the steak sandwich with horseradish sauce. He thought there was a little too much sauce but I loved it. If your a horseradish fan this is for you. We were all too full for dessert but I will be going back to check out the bananas foster soon. All around a lovely Easter brunch everyone enjoyed that left us all with enough money to enjoy some German beers afterward across the street!
