Fort Lauderdale: any new ideas?

boagman | Jan 18, 201711:31 PM     4

So my nearly-yearly trek to Fort Lauderdale is almost upon me (less than a week away), and I just checked out the website for my usual mainstay fine dining place: Sea in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and of course...it's no longer Sea. I knew it was a possibility that it might happen since the restaurant was sold a few years ago by Tony Sindaco (now in PA), but when I was there two years ago, it was still very good, and had his influences. Now? Things look a bit different.

I *may* still try it, but I'm a bit leery of it now, too. Any other really good suggestions? Price really isn't that big of an object, but if I'm going to spend, I want to be *fed*. No small plate BS for gargantuan prices or anything.

Thank you all in advance!
