Fort Charles Pub sold

KAZ | Jan 9, 2008 05:41 AM

Hey all - I was back in the old neighborhood last night and stopped by the Fort Charles Pub for a burger and THE BEST fries and gravy I've had in a loooong time.

Anywho, it appears the FCP has been sold. From what I can gather the gang that owns Don't Know / No Idea has bought it. They plan on moving out the pool tables, extending the kitchen and putting in booths.

This is one of the last of a rapidly dying breed. Its a true South Baltimore corner bar with fantastic crab cakes and soft shells (in addition to burgers, chili cheese dogs, etc). For those who haven't tried it yet, it should be open for another couple of weeks. If it lasts in the current form until February, seeing the old girl smoke free will be a strange but welcome sight.

Here are a couple of threads on the ol' FCP. Jon, shall we schedule a fair-well dinner?
