food markets in Paris

While researching CH for our upcoming trip to Paris I came across reference to these three markets and would appreciate any insight into what fellow chowhounders think of them as well as practical info (days and hours of operation or a site that might indicate that - I've tried for example to search on google for Belleville but havent found anything on the market thus far.

the Marche de Belleville (metro: Belleville)

the Marche de Daumesnil (metro: Daumesnil)

the Marche d'Aligre (I think: metro = Ledru-Rollin).

From research I have done it seems that a premier spot for people who are food oriented to stay might be some where near Rue Cler - what's the feel on this and any recommendations for other areas that are intensively food oriented - obviously Paris is a food city ---

We are more interested in street food, markets, takeout and ethnic foods rather than upmarket dining...
Merci beaucoup
