Floridita (just above 125th St, way west)

Went there for the first time yesterday...wide-open Latin dinery vibe, bright, w/ lots of people laughing over lottery tickets, etc...

chicken w/ garlic was a huge portion of chicken breast, nicely smothered in chopped garlic (as opposed to a garlic sauce, which is what i'd expected) and tender -- very tasty...served w/ rice and choice of red/black beans...i had the red beans, soupy but ok...only ten bucks for the dish, including a generic iceberg lettuce and tomato salad...my dining companion had the Floridita Chicken Special which was essentially the same dish, with mixed veggies instead of garlic...

the only problem: we got there at 5:25pm and ordered immediately...the chicken didn't arrive until 6:10...45 minutes to serve the chicken special?...anyone else have similar/experiences of tasty food and/or slow orders?...
