Fiorella's Mardi Gras 2008

Went to Fiorella's this year like I usually do on my annual trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. This was the Friday of Mardi Gras weekend. The place was sparse as far as patrons. I assumed the crowds were at the parades. The waitstaff was "Goth" with hair as though they had just gotten out of bed. What happened to hairnets around food? There were fruit flies interrupting throughout the meal. I ordered the specialty of fried chicken. The chicken breast was fine but the other two smaller pieces were refried blobs. Overall this meal was my first and the worst. It left me with a flat impression of what used to be a great experience. I sat in view of the bar that had dust on the hanging martini glasses so thick that I cringed at the thought of them being used. They always say that during Mardi Gras the food is below standard because of the crowds. I do not believe this was the reason for the issues I raise. Has this place been sold or what is happening here.
