Here are some of the things I got that were pretty good:
- "Bagna calda" appetizer
- raw garlic and parsley condiment (on table)
- garlic rolls (complimentary)
- Meat loaf
The meat loaf especially is very savory. Some of the best I've had, especially if you mix in the bagna calda. Also the garlic ice cream is pretty good.
One thing I noticed: after eating the garlicky appetizers I couldn't really taste the garlic as much anymore. I found myself craving higher and higher doses. By the time I got to the ice cream it just tasted like sweet cream base with a
*very subtle* trace of garlic.
But opening the fridge the next morning and smelling the leftovers (not the meat loaf) which hadn't been detectable garlic-wise during the dinner made me realize how desensitized I had been. They were redolent!
