new find in Boca

bicoastal chowhound | Apr 5, 200603:36 PM

I am very fortunate to be a dual citizen of boca and L.A. I have been in Boca for the winter. I want to be the first to put out the word on Absinthe at the Mariot of Town Center. The general Manager is Anthony Hobbs who was G.M. of Zeme before it's unfortunate demise. Absinthe was created by the San Francisco based Puccini Group which specializes in designing destination restaurants within boutique and luxury hotels. As a spoiled foody I want to tell allof you this is a winner on all counts. The space provides a wonderful environment to enjoy this much creative cuisine. I went pre grand opening which meant a limited menu, I had duck confit ,tower of ceaser salad and creative salmon dish. Don't miss the excellent homemade ice creams. This plus my dinners at Sylvanna and Trina in Ft. Lauderdale were the highlights of this seasons new dining efforts. If you will be in L.A. this summer I have some good recs. Again that is Absinthe 5150 Town center Circle 561-620-3754
