Have not been to Fiesta Mexicana on 74th and Roosevelt in about four months because you can't get a beer with the food, and you are not allowed to bring any in. Does anyone know if this has changed? If not, does anyone know if the owner has religious/moral objections? Have noticed them getting increasingly desperate to fill the place up via weekend all you can eat buffets, now showing signs of spreading into the rest of the week. So far as I can tell, none of that is working. It seems to me they really don't need to do that. All they need to do is to keep up the quality of food and make it possible to accompany your meal with a beer instead of with Jarritos. Can the powers that be in Chowhound try to convince the owner that's the way to go? Else I fear that this worthy place will first decline and then disappear.
