Taking an author out to lunch or dinner anywhere in DC. Looking for a restaurant having very good vegetarian food along with a more formal atmosphere in an outdoor setting...this is hard! I am not having any luck on my own. I am finding outdoor dining at just-okay places and a relaxed vibe...these are my priorities in descending order: outdoors, quality of food (really these are both #1), and more formal atmosphere. He's gone the extra mile and I want to treat him to a special meal. Thank you so much for your recommendations.
