There was an Italian popup at Bao & Noodle yesterday, Fatto Bene, that we managed to sample and gosh, the results are positive. The spaghetti carbonara they served was straight ahead and delicious; the ravioli were creamy inside with just the right toothsomeness in the pasta.; and the anchovy salad pretty well balanced. In a time and place where everybody's putting "their spin" on classic dishes, it was really pretty nice to just be served the classic dish.
I'd highly recommend them if they pop up again in the future.
