Father's Day Help

Pilar | Jun 6, 2005 12:33 PM

I want to take my husband somewhere really great for Fathers day. We love food, and are not fond of fads or gimmicks. We enjoy all kinds of food but please do not recommend Japanese or Chinese as we eat that all the time. ALthough, if you know a good Japanese resto that serve authentic Kanseki meals (spelling? --formal meals), please let us know.

I want to take him somewhere with great food, and maybe an ocean view?? We are Foster City transplants from the South Bay and want to find new places from here and north (or east or west) ...

We have been to the Ritz and Anzu for Sunday brunch, loved it but I want to take him somewhere new. Price is not a big factor, but again, no gimmicky places please. Thanks so much!
