Now that I've shed a half a ton of lard (with only a half ton more to go!), I'm ready to slowly venture back into the world of culinary delights.
First, does anyone know of a low fat / low calorie healthy food delivery service in NY/NJ? I know there's a company that delivers 3 meals plus snacks every morning based on the zone diet. I'm looking for something along those lines, but I'm not so sure I want to get involved in a fad diet.
What are some questions and requests you can make at restaurants to make sure you're getting a healthy meal... that is, other than requesting salad dressing or sauce on the side? Are most restaurants accomodating to special requests? which notable ones
aren't? I know the joint I work at will hand you your walking papers if you ask for anything more than salad dressing on the side.
