Farmer's Market - Little Italy

MyPurpleFeet | Jan 14, 201201:13 PM

My last full day in San Diego. Sigh. What a great send-off to have spent the morning at the Farmer's Market in Little Italy. I sampled so many delightful flavours - ranging from Indian parathas with yogurt mint sauce, to organic dried peaches, to goat gouda . . . and truffle infused salt. In addition to all the tastes, there were street musicians and happy pooches all along the way. The accordion player - Smilin' Jack - was especially entertaining. Finally, a good cup of coffee - from Joes on the Nose - in an orange truck. If only I had more stomach space, I would have had one of those yummy smelling tamales . . . or perhaps an avocado and cheese crepe. So many choices, so little time.
