Erzulie Lunch review - short

cc | Jul 17, 200305:00 PM

Good looking restaurant, delicious Crawfish cakes for starter. The grain-mustard based sauce was light with a little heat. Chunks of crawfish sweet and not overcooked.

The slow cooked pulled pork sandwich with caramlized onions a little sweet and syrupy, not what I was looking for but my brother really liked it. Served on a nice ACME-style roll.

Better still was the jerked chicken sandwich with a red pepper/red cabbage slaw. Good smoky flavor and a hint of cumin and sweet jerk sauce. The ubiquitous mixed greens served with each sandwich, very lightly dressed.

With a 20% tip we were out of there for $15 a head, very reasonable for a nice lowkey FiDi lunch.
