If I take Mrs Bung to one more bad restaurant out of the Entertainment 2003 book I fear she will refuse to use it. Anybody find any standouts?
What we liked :
Pagarung thai in Montclair Village - The grilled lamb
special is a ten! Call ahead and see if its on the menu.
Fondue Fred in Berkeley - This is not chowhound
fondue, but its a great deal and a fun atmosphere.
House of Siam? in Orinda - Nothing touches the Pagarung lamb dish but their Basil Duck is really good.
Agave in Walnut Creek - Pretty good sort of spanish
fusion food. Too pricey for what it is w/o the ticket.
Hong Kong Villa Chinese in Lafayette - Better than
average mostly american focused chinese food. Great
We have struck out on Italian, Mexican (except Celias
which is OK), and Pizza (except New York Pizza in WC
which was pretty good).
Any good experiences to share?
