Was it just me, Enoteca? (Las Vegas)

My husband and I were travelling through Vegas and were looking forward to a modestly priced evening with good eats at Enoteca on April 23. What we got was cheap eats (if you call $75 for 2 cheap). Unfortunately we had a really terrible experience - your dining experience starts with a breadstick package (YES breadsticks commercially packaged in plastic wrap - ok they were imported but get real!). We ordered a couple of overpriced wines by the glass and they poured from several bottles to end up with one glass at the table (after we tasted YUK)!

Then to the food - the salads were terrific, the pork shoulder was really tender.... but the pasta! I ordered the Bucatini all'Amatriciana and it was really disappointing. The cured pork, or perhaps added salt??? made the dish so overly salted that it was inedible. The waiter noticed I wasn't eating and offered to package it up even after I stated my concerns and in consolation gave us 25% off the dish as he presented the check.

So being the concerned customers that we are, we took the time to complete a feedback card and asked for a reply email and are still patiently waiting.

All in all, the salad was great, the "Pick me up" gelato was extremely well done but in our experience all the hype was correct - you get a lot of ups and downs.
