I lived in Chicago for most of my life, but recently left. Now I get a jones for something different every day in the smaller town I live in. I try to hit some places when I get back into town for a day or two, but it is hard to find them with the limited time I have. My friends have dropped off of the eats scene now that they are older, and can never recommned anything...

Concerning my current jones, I am looking for a good empanada place. I always used to hit this little Argentinian market on Southport near Grace, but I don't find myself in that neighborhood too much. I never really looked for any other place because the empanadas were so tasty, cheap and accessable, but I have read about some Puerto Rican and Columbian places in town. Any advice?
