I think this is probably one of those places that everyone but me has known about for years, but if you're not familiar with it, check it out. It's a tiny little place at the corner of Shepherd and Washington with a drive-through line and a few tables inside. I think there are a couple of other locations somewhere around town. Three excellent tacos of your choice with a generous serving of beans (pintos or black) and rice will set you back about six dollars. They also have Cuban dishes and rotisserie chicken, and the "Cuban tacos" (fajita meat, black beans, fried plantains, and sour cream) were great! Among the four of us we had the following tacos: rotisserie chicken, al pastor, beef "Cuban", shrimp (both tempura and grilled), and fish, and enjoyed them all. Service was friendly and quick, and the restroom was clean. If you're in that neighborhood, stop by!
